Terms and Conditions – Tree People Instant Prize Competition

1. The promoter of the Tree People Kōkako Instant Prize competition ("Kōkako Competition") is Genesis Power Limited trading as Genesis Energy ("Genesis Energy").
2. The Kōkako Competition is open to any person living in New Zealand that registers for Tree People and becomes a Tree Person. Employees of Genesis Energy and any of Genesis Energy's agencies associated with the promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
3. The Kōkako Competition is an instant prize draw that will occur every fortnight with the first draw at 5pm on Monday 26 May 2008 and the last draw at 5pm on Monday 29 June 2009.
4. To be eligible for the Kōkako Competition a person needs to be a registered Tree Person and have completed a pledge within the fortnight leading up to the draw being made.
5. There are eight winners each fortnight with the winners receiving one of the following prizes:
   • An Avanti Black Thunder Sport Mountain Bike
   • 5 x Packs of four Trelise Cooper Eco Bags
   • A Village Cinema Double Movie Voucher
   • A Panasonic Camcorder - model number SDR-SW20
6. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative prizes.
7. The winners will be notified by email within 10 working days of the draw being made. If the winner has not contacted the promoter in regards to redeeming their prize within 30 working days of the email being sent, their prize will be forfeited and another winner will be chosen.
8. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The prize winners' names and details may be used by Genesis Energy for promotional purposes and the winners agree to participate in any publicity arrangements that Genesis Energy reasonably require.
10. Prize winners' details will be held in accordance with Genesis Energy's privacy policy as set out at genesisenergy.co.nz/genesis/second-level-nav$/terms-&-conditions/privacy-policy.cfm.
11. Entry into this Competition implies full acceptance of all terms and conditions of the promotion.

Terms and Conditions – Tree People Tane Major Prize Competition

1. The promoter of the Tree People Tane Major Prize competition ("Tane Competition") is Genesis Power Limited trading as Genesis Energy ("Genesis Energy").
2. The Tane Competition is open to any person living in New Zealand that registers for Tree People and becomes a Tree Person. Employees of Genesis Energy and any of Genesis Energy's agencies associated with the promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
3. There are three Tane Competitions which will be held over the following periods ("Competition Periods")
   1. 9am Monday 19 May – 5pm Sunday 27 July 2008
   2. 9am Monday 28 July – 5pm Sunday 30 November 2008
   3. 9am Monday 1 December 2008 – 5pm Sunday 26 April 2009
4. Each Tane Competition will be judged in the week following the close of that Competition Period. Winners will be contacted and announced within 10 days of the respective Tane Competition closing. The Tane Competition winner will be decided by a judge. Judging will be based on many considerations, not just the height of the tree. The judging criteria includes but is not limited to: number of sponsors and friends, number of gifts given and received, completed pledges, number of visits to the Tree People website.
5. The winner of each Competition receives the following prize:
   • An Avanti Black Thunder Sport Mountain Bike
   • A Panasonic Camcorder - model number SDR-SW20
   And
   • A $10,000 Technology Grant for a New Zealand School of their choice
   • A $2,000 walk through energy audit for a New Zealand School of their choice
6. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative prizes.
